Cold feet and chilblains (pernio) are caused by poor circulation and exposure to cold, damp conditions. Chilblains appear as red, itchy, swollen patches — typically on the toes, heels, or fingers — that can become painful and even blister if left untreated. They are more common in people with Raynaud's phenomenon, peripheral vascular disease, or those who work or exercise outdoors in cold weather.
This collection includes warming foot creams and circulation-boosting treatments, thermal and moisture-wicking socks for insulation, protective padding for broken or blistered chilblains, and topical products to soothe inflammation and aid skin healing. Prevention is key — keeping feet warm, dry, and well-moisturised significantly reduces the risk of chilblains developing.
If you have persistent cold feet, discolouration, or numbness that doesn't resolve with warming, please consult your GP or podiatrist as this may indicate an underlying circulatory condition.
